The Results -Kabobs – Three ways

The kabobs turned out pretty good.  I think the peppers could have cooked a little longer, but oh well.  Dave noticed the different color skewers, and could pick out the kabobs that had nothing on them.  We both liked them all.  Shockingly the fat free version were just as good as the regular dressing version.  So in regards to fat, I could continue my lazy cooking ways of dumping a whole bunch of dressing on the meat if I used the fat free dressing. Here’s what I’m going to do.  I’m making the three different kabobs together.  These are the ingredients they will all have in common: 2 Lbs. Shish Kabob – a little healthier – options

You already know what has to go.  The full bottle of Italian dressing.  Just a half bottle of dressing has 640 calories and 56 grams of fat. I will be trimming the meat, but I think it’s the oily dressing that’s the big issue. The way I see it there are three options:  I can use a “light” version of dressing, I can use less of the current dressing, or I can eliminate the dressing all together.  The light version of dressing does have less than half the calories and fat of the regular, but I don’t usually like...
